COVID-19 Statement

As Covid-19 continues to affect everyday life in Ontario, our firm remains open for business. In order to combat the spread of this virus, we are working remotely. We are temporarily not meeting with clients in person but our lawyers are working offsite; we are using telephone and other electronic means to work with our clients and to conduct initial consultations. Even though the courts are closed to all but urgent matters, we continue to do everything we can do to advance cases and obtain the best results that we can for our clients.

If you are in need of assistance, we are here to help. Please contact us.

Let Tanya’s experience and knowledge help you navigate this difficult time in your life or the complex family law issue that you may be facing.

Since Tanya’s call to the bar in 2003, she has practiced exclusively in the area of family law.  Her practice is devoted to all aspects of family law, including parenting, property division and support.

In representing her clients, Tanya endeavors to provide sensible and sound legal advice with a focus on obtaining a solution that is reasonable, practical and results-oriented.  Tanya strives to negotiate or mediate a resolution to a dispute prior to resorting to litigation.  However, if litigation cannot be avoided, Tanya has vigorously advocated for her clients before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal.

In addition to spending family time with her husband and their three children, Tanya has been actively involved in the parents’ association at her children’s elementary school and a Patient Partner at the University Health Network (UHN).  Tanya also enjoys baking with her family and reading a good novel.
